COVID-19 Message To Our Community
Chaparral Medical Group is committed to the protection and safety of our patients, families, and healthcare staff during the COVID-19 outbreak.
In our effort to reduce the risk for COVID-19 exposure, our Chaparral Medical Group clinics perform Telehealth (link to page) services (2-way, real time telephone visits) with their patients upon their consent, so that continuity of care continues.
At the present time, our Chaparral Medical Group Clinic Offices are staffed and open for business Monday through Friday, and Primary Care appointment requests are assessed to determine if a Telehealth visit will be a sufficient alternative to a face-to-face visit.
All new Specialty referrals are prioritized based on urgency and a Telehealth visit may be recommended. In special circumstances, some Specialty referrals might require a face-to-face evaluation. In these cases, those patients will be contacted and scheduled accordingly.
We continue to monitor and adhere to local, state and federal guidelines. Your health and safety are our biggest priority and we would like you to know we are here for you.
Presently, Chaparral Medical Group in partnership with Health Care Avenues is working with San Bernardino County in following a phased approach to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to our community. Please view the current county tier guidelines for details to determine your current eligibility.
Upon arrival to your appointment, you will be required to show proof of residence or employment within San Bernardino County. We will not be able to administer a vaccine without this documentation. Appointments are required to receive a vaccine.
